Only connect the appliance
via a fault-current (FC) circuit
breaker.
Protect yourself from electric

using earthed appliances
(e.g. refrigerators, water
pipes, etc.).

Prior to commissioning the
appliance, check that the
voltage indicated on the type
plate of the appliance and
voltage of your power supply
are the same.
Regularly examine the
extension and power cable.
Immediately replace faulty
cables with new ones.
If the power cable for this
appliance is damaged, ensure
that the cable is replaced by
the manufacturer, a customer
service technician or a
qualified repair shop to avoid
any possible hazards.
If you do not use the appliance
for a longer period of time
store it in a dry environment.
Make sure that the connec-
tion cable is not hanging or
stretched across edges, or else
there is a risk of injury.
Do not misuse the power
cable to carry or suspend the
appliance or to pull the plug
out of the plug socket.
Never pull the mains plug out
of the plug socket by holding
on to the cable.
Do not use electronic
appliances in moist or wet
environments and do not
expose them to rain or high
levels of humidity.
Never switch electrical
appliances on in close
proximity of easily flammable
liquids or gases.
Never use the direct in the
direct vicinity of a bathtub,
shower stall or swimming pool.
Make sure that no other
electrical appliance is
connected to the same electric
circuit because this can result
in an overload.
If you are going to be absent,
disconnect the mains plug.
