The speaker is protected according to protection class IP44. During charging, this
protection is not provided. For this reason, do not place any containers filled with
liquids (e.g. vases) on or next to the speakers and the mains adapter during this time.

Never open the housing of the device. There are no user-serviceable or replaceable
components inside the device.
■
Do not make any unauthorised modifications or alterations to the device.
■
All repairs must be carried out by authorised specialist companies or by the Customer
Service department. Improper repairs may put the user at risk. It will also invalidate
any warranty claims.
■
Repairs to the device during the warranty period may only be carried out by a cus-
tomer service department authorised by the manufacturer. Otherwise, no warranty
claims will be held for any subsequent damages.
■
Defective components must always be replaced with original replacement parts.
Compliance with the safety requirements can only be guaranteed by using these
replacement parts.

DANGER! Switch off the device immediately and pull the mains adapter out of
the power socket if you smell fumes or notice any smoke. Have the device checked
by a qualified specialist before using it again.

In the case of a malfunction occurring or a thunderstorm, disconnect the mains
adapter from the power socket.
Notice regarding power disconnection
■
The multifunction button on this device does not completely disconnect the device
from the mains power supply. In addition, the mains adapter consumes power as
long as it is connected to the power socket (standby mode). To completely disconnect
the device from the power supply, the plug must be removed from the mains power
socket. The power socket must always be easily accessible so that the mains adapter
can be easily disconnected in an emergency.
Notes on the radio interface

Keep the device at least 20 cm away from a pacemaker, as the proper functioning of
the pacemaker could be affected by radio waves.
■
The transmitted radio waves can cause noise interference in hearing aids.
■
Do not use the device with the radio components switched on in the presence of flam-
mable gases or in a potentially explosive atmosphere (e.g. in a paint shop), as the
transmitted radio waves can cause an explosion or ignite a fire.
■
The range of the radio waves is dependent on the environment and the ambient
conditions.
■
Data transmissions via a wireless connection can be intercepted by unauthorised
third parties.
