Function
You can use the party wok …
–
to prepare food in the traditional Chinese
style at high heat;
–
most of the vitamins and nutrients are retained
in the food due to short cooking times and
high heat;
–
the foods can be prepared with little or no fat;
–
individuals can prepare their own food to
their own taste.
Location of use
Always place the party wok on a level, fi rm and
heat-resistant surface in a dry environment.
WARNING! RISK OF FIRE!
To avoid the risk of damage caused by heat and
the risk of fi re in the immediate vicinity of the wok
when it is switched on, always ensure that …
►
the switched-on wok is always at least 50 cm
away from walls, furniture and other objects;
►
no objects are suspended above the switched-
on wok (e.g. lamps);
►
there are no easily infl ammable objects in
the vicinity of the switched-on wok (e.g.
materials/ textiles);
►
the power cable

are not located close to hot surfaces or naked
fl ames;
►

cannot come into contact
with the cooking plate

►
no moisture and/or liquids can permeate the
cooking plate

. Non-compliance increases
the risk of fi re or of receiving an electrical
shock!
Before initial use
Remove all party wok components from the pack-
aging. Remove all protective fi lm that may be on
the appliance and clean all packaging residue
from the parts that will come into contact with food
(see Chapter “Cleaning and Care”).
Operation
NOTE
►
During initial use a small amount of smoke
and a slight odour may occur, this is due to
production residue. This is completely normal
and is not dangerous. Provide suffi cient venti-
lation by opening a window, for example.

required sauces
