Manual cleaning
For heavier soiling, it is necessary to manually clean the rotary brush

, the
splash guard

and the brush chamber in the foot section

of the appliance.
If this occurs, do the following:

Make sure that the appliance is not plugged in.
Ƈ
Take hold of the top of the splash guard

by the edge of the handle (
PULL
)
and pull it forward to remove it from the foot section

(see fig. 33).
Ƈ
Take hold of the bracket on the left side of the rotary brush

and pull it
upwards to remove the rotary brush from the foot section

(see fig. 34).

Clean the splash guard

and the rotary brush

in hot running water (see
fig. 35).

If the brush chamber is dirty, wipe it out with a damp cloth or rag (see fig. 36).

fitting them back onto the appliance (see fig. 37).

upright in the rotary brush holder
