Inserting/changing the remote control battery
If the battery in the remote control

is dead, a new CR2032 battery needs to be
inserted.
♦ Open the battery compartment

on the underside of the remote control

(see description on the rear of the remote control

♦ Remove the old battery from the remote control

NOTE
► Please follow the disposal instructions (see section Disposing of the batteries ).
♦ Insert a new CR2032 battery into the battery compartment

Ensure the +/- terminals are correctly aligned.
♦ Slide the battery compartment

back into the remote control

Fitting the feet
♦ Place the appliance upside down on a soft surface, e.g. a carpet.
♦ Fit the feet

to the bottom of the appliance using 2 screws

Switching the appliance on and off
The main switch

disconnects the appliance fully from the mains power supply.
♦ Insert the power plug into a mains wall socket.
♦ Switch on the appliance using the main switch

first; or switch off at the main
switch last if you are no longer using the appliance.
♦ When switched on, the integrated control lamp in the main switch

lights up.
You will hear a beep and the temperature will be shown on the display

♦ Now press the On/Off button
