This is the only way to guarantee that the holder
filter (13) is fitted straight and horizontally.
2. Align the catcher plate (12) so that the nose on
the front of the catcher plate (12) can be pushed
into the recess on the bottom of the heater unit
(14) (see arrow) from the front.
3. Push the catcher plate (12) gently against the
heater unit (14) so it clicks into place.
6.1.4 Filling the water reservoir
1. Open the lid (7).
2. Fill the fresh drinking water at least to the “0.5L MIN” mark in the water reservoir (9).
3. Close the lid (7).

DANGER: Risk of electric shock
Keep the heater unit (14) away from water. Otherwise there is a risk of lethal
electric shock.
WARNING
Only operate the hot water dispenser on an even, stable and heat-resistant
surface.
DANGER: Risk of burns
Do not remove the container while the water is being heated and filled. Always
wait until the filling process is complete (drops of hot water can still drip from
the hot water dispenser even after the beep sounds).
Before preparing water for consumption for the first time, you must first clean the hot water
dispenser to remove dust and any residues from the packaging materials. Proceed as described in
the chapter on “Cleaning”. Then carry out the following steps to rinse the internal components
through:
1. Open the lid (7).
2. Fill the hot water dispenser with drinking water until at least the “1.5L” mark.
3. Close the lid (7).
4. Plug the power cable (10) into an easily accessible mains socket. All the displays and buttons
on the control panel (1 to 6) light up briefly and a beep sounds. As soon as the hot water
dispenser is ready, all the lights go out apart from the unlock button (6) and the temperature
display (1) shows the value “0”.
