Troubleshooting
Fault Cause Remedy
The appliance is
not working.
The plug is not inserted into
a mains power socket. Connect the plug to the
power supply.
The appliance is defective.
Contact the Customer
Service department.
The viewing window is
not correctly inserted or has
not been clicked into place.
Insert the viewing window
correctly and ensure
that it clicks into place.
The slices of toast
are too dark. The browning level is set
too high. Turn the browning
control
down a little.
The slices of bread
are not toasted. The browning level is set
too low. Turn the browning
control
up a little.
The toasting
lever
does not
engage when it is
pressed down.
The plug is not inserted into
a mains power socket. Insert the plug into a
mains socket.
