Make sure that the power cord (7) cannot be damaged by
sharp edges or hot spots. After use, always wind the power
cord (7) back around the cord wrap underneath the base
(5).

Make sure that the power cord (7) cannot become crushed
or squashed.

The appliance must always be disconnected from the mains
when left unsupervised and before assembly, disassembly or
cleaning.

When disconnecting the power supply from the wall outlet,
always pull on the mains plug and never on the power cord
(7) itself.

If you notice visible damage to the kettle or the power cord
(7), switch the appliance off immediately, disconnect the
mains plug from the wall outlet and contact our hotline (see
"Warranty information" section).

Only connect the base (5) to a properly installed, easily
accessible wall outlet whose mains voltage corresponds to
that on the rating plate. After connecting the appliance, the
wall outlet must still be easily accessible so that you can
remove the mains plug quickly in the event of an emergency
