RDS Timers
These three boxes provide timing information for RDS when available.
RDS Sync indicates how long the Si4701/03 took to first synchronize after tuning.
RT Display is how quickly radio text is acquired. This time is dependent on the error
checking mode.
PS Display is how quickly the program service is acquired.

Property Category
Select the desired properties to be displayed in the property grid (10). The avail-
able property categories are:
Frequently Used, Seek/tune, Audio Control, Misc Status, Misc Control,
RDS Status, RDS Control, and EVB MCU.
See the GUI Properties table (Table 9) at the end of this section for a description
of what is available in each category.

Property Grid
Displays the values by register name depending on the property category (9)
selected. A description of each item is provided in the help box below the grid.

BAND
Choice of the frequency band (US / Europe, Japan Wide, Japan Normal) via the
dropdown menu.

MONO
Choice to force the radio into Mono Mode or allow Stereo.

PTYDECODE
PTY Decode Choice between RDS (Europe) or RBDS decoding for the RDS Pro-
gram type.

SEEKTH
The seek RSSI threshold level used for seek (1) and scan functions (4).

SKCNT
The maximum impulse count allowed during a seek, used for seek (1) and scan
(4) functions.

SKSNR
The seek SNR threshold level used for seek (1) and scan (4) functions.

SPACE
Choice for Channel Spacing (200 kHz, 100 kHz, 50 kHz) via a dropdown menu.

Page Navigation Tabs
Allows the user to switch the view to the RSSI Graph (Section “6.2.2. RSSI Graph
Screen”) and Register Map Pages (Section “6.2.3. Register Map Display”)

Status Bar
Display of serial number, Firmware version, boot mode, bus mode and the
date/time that the user connected.

Updating Indicator
Bright Green indicates communication to the EVB. To manually update the screen
information click on the LED.
