: This item indicates the status of Cylinders.

: This item indicates the number of headers.

: This item displays the number of sectors.

Maximum Capacity

: This item displays the maximum storage capacity of the system.

•

Multi-Sector Transfers

: This item enables you to specify the number of sectors per block to

be used in multi-sector transfer. The options are Disabled, 4 Sectors, 8 Sectors, and 16
Sectors.

•

LBA Mode Control

: This item determines whether the BIOS accesses the IDE Channel 0

Master Device via the LBA mode. The options are Enabled and Disabled.

•

32 Bit I/O

: This option enables you to enable or disable the function of 32-bit data transfer.

The options are Enabled and Disabled.

•

Transfer Mode

: This option allows the user to set the transfer mode. The options are

Standard, Fast PIO1, Fast PIO2, Fast PIO3, Fast PIO4, FPIO3/DMA1 and FPIO4/DMA2.

•

Ultra DMA Mode

: This option allows the user to select Ultra DMA Mode. The options are

Disabled, Mode 0, Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3, Mode 4, and Mode 5.
