YES

Alarm groups armed

PANIC

YES

Panic alarm (immediate triggering of sirens via PCK)

TECHNICAL ALARMS.

YES

smoke, gas, flood alarms according to the assigned and programmed detectors

DISPLAY

NUMBER OF DETECTOR

Identification of detector by number

TEST

YES

Control unit in TEST to check the system – sirens off

PROGRAMMING

YES

Control unit in PROGRAMMING

ENTRY DELAY

YES

Detector shown by number on display is delayed with 30”

EXCLUSION DETECTOR  YES

Detector shown by number on display has been excluded

DUAL DETECTOR

YES

2 detectors working together in the zone shown on display

DOOR OPEN

YES

A protected door/window has been left open. Either close it or leave it as it is.
If left open it will not be protected any longer

ALARM MEMORY

YES

During last arming period, detector shown by display caused an alarm if no
intrusion occurred or a mistake  has been made, call technical assistance

TAMPER

YES

Detector shown has been tampered: this event immediately causes an alarm
(low intensity if control unit disarmed). Check and call for technical assistance

BATTERY

YES

Detector shown needs battery to be replaced: some days of life is left.
Replace battery a.s.a.p.

R.F. NOISE

YES

Control unit has not correctly received supervision signalling of detector
shown. Make a TEST: if positive, the noise could be incidental thus irrelevant.

If signalling  is often repeated, maybe detector has been installed at range-

limit or not correctly so it has to be moved. If detector does not work properly,

it is necessary to exclude it and call for technical assistance.

6   TEST OF THE SYSTEM

For trying out the system without any alarm activation use the green-red-white buttons of R-Evolution as follows:

red and green buttons:  pressed together for about 1 sec. TEST modality will be activated: TEST led will light up

red and green buttons:  in TEST modality, pressed together for about 1   sec.  will exclude the selected detector

red and green buttons:  in TEST modality, pressed together for about 10 sec.  will cancel all scheduled remote controls

green button:

pressed in succession will allow reading of the events memory

white button:

pressed in succession will allow selection of the detector position (from 1 to 96)

red button:

pressed will end TEST modality and return to normal functioning

For checking the functionality of the system, stir the detectors one by one: a BEEP will be generated as well as a temporary lighting up of the

number of each detector which produced alarm.  These TEST alarms will remain stored (up to 50), and for this reason can be checked by

interrogating the events memory in TEST. Notice: leaving the TEST status this memory storage will be automatically reset.

It is recomendable to carry out a test once a year.

NOTICE:

for correct testing of volumetric detectors 5011 PIR TOP and 5014 SILENT  PIR it is necessary to empty the protected rooms (persons,

animals) at least 3 minutes before triggering off an alarm by entering the protected area.

In order to check the protected area each detector has to be set in TEST modality (see its instructions).

EXCLUSION OF WIRELESS DETECTORS

In case of failure of a detector it will be possible to temporarily exclude it from the system. With the control unit in TEST  modality search for the

position of the detector by pressing in succession the white button on the remote control. Once the detector has been identified press both the red

and green buttons together; exclusion will be confirmed and led “DETECT. OMITTED” will appear. Repeating the operation the detector will return
to normal functioning.

PART 2 – INSTALLATION AND PROGRAMMING

7   TECHNICAL FEATURES of R-EVOLUTION (also see electrical scheme)

Supply:

10-14V CC

Consumption

: 40mA typical in stand by

Peripheral devices by radio:

up to 96 det up to 32 remote co 32 keypad codes

Radio reception:

dualband – sensibility -105db – frequencies >400MHz and >850MHz according to law but indicated approximately for safety

reasons. Radio range: 100 meters in free area and in condition of total absence of noise on the band. Indoors it may undergo significant reductions

caused by the position of the devices referred to the structure of the rooms a/o by radio-disturbs on the band. Before final installation
it will always be necessary to check the sufficiency of the radio ranges.

Timing

: activation delayed with 60” – entry delay 30” on those detectors scheduled in such way

Entry-Exit connections – Displays – Sizes – Weight - Protection and Temperature:

 see illustrations and schemes below

8   REMARKS FOR A PROPER INSTALLATION

Any installation should take into account the different environmental conditions, and therefore requires professional skills and care. Mistakes in

course of installation may cause bad functioning of the system not due to the devices  themselves.
Before starting up the installation it will be necessary to define the required functions as well as the type and position of the wireless detectors and

their division on 3 zones for partial activation: for this reason the chart on the last page should be filled out.

24h Zone

: the device has 2 permanent active zones where to schedule technical alarms/commands a/o panic-burglar alarms. The detectors or

remote controls with special functions (24h) will have to be scheduled on special channels.
The range of the remote controls may vary according to their position and to the way in which they are handled in transmission-phase: check the

most favourable conditions.

All physical obstacles produce loss of radio range. For verifying the power of the captured signal it is recomendable to use FIELD METER, placing
this device at the installation point of the control unit and making sure that the signals are captured at least in the yellow area. In case there should

not be any transmission from the system, the noise notified from the FIELD METER must not exceed the green area.
