4.2 Mechanical mounting wire-actuated encoder
Wire springing back
Injuries such as cuts caused by the wire springing back.

The wire must not spring back, it must be stressed by spring force in
every situation and movement.
Destruction of the wire-actuated encoder

Do not extend the wire beyond the specified maximum extension
length (see
Fig. 3
). Max. extension length = measuring range (see
chapter
11
) + 5 mm.

Do not twist the wire seat or wire (see

Do not squeeze or bend the wire.

Conduct the wire perpendicular to the wire outlet (see
Fig. 3
).
