It should be noted that both DIP switches are always required for cor-
rect functioning of bus termination.

Interruption of voltage supply to the actuator results in malfunction-
ing bus termination!
You can activate internal bus termination via the DIP - switches 9 + 10:

6 Battery change

Do not recharge the battery nor expose it to temperatures above
85 °C.

Dispose of used batteries properly.
Danger of short circuit

Do not use metal objects for removing the battery

Do not insert sharp or metallic objects into the inside of the housing
in case of remote battery compartment.
Loss of data
With missing supply voltage and empty or missing battery, calibration of
the sensor unit will be lost.

It is mandatory to change the battery with supply voltage switched on.

Repeated calibration travel in case of data loss (refer to the see User
manual for the procedure).
6.1 Battery type, function and service life

Battery type: CR2477N; 3 V Lithium; 950 mAh
The battery enables the detection and storing of currentless adjustments
of the driving shaft. The average battery service life is approximate 5 years
depending on the ambient conditions and duration of actuator supply vol-
tage application. The battery can be changed at SIKO distribution part-
ners, in the SIKO parent factory or by yourself.
