PRINTER READY
01: PAPER / 1626mm
Change the automatic cleaning timing
To ensure the print heads’ good condition, the printer performs the automatic cleaning. The cleaning mode can be
specified depending on the media preset. Select BEFORE&DURING PRNT or BEFORE&AFTER PRINT depending on
the media characteristics.
BEFORE&AFTER
PRINT
Based on the previous printing operations, the printer performs the automatic cleaning when
starting and completing the print operation.
BEFORE&DURING
PRNT
Based on the previous printing operations, the printer performs the automatic cleaning when
starting the print operation or during printing .
After cleaning, the printer resumes printing if it was interrupted.
OFF
Automatic cleaning is not performed. We recommend using this mode when printing
continuously several data files on media with which differences between printouts will be
noticeable if automatic cleaning is performed between two files. However, since cleaning is not
performed automatically, determine suitable timing to execute cleaning manually. Nozzles will
clog more frequently if cleaning is not performed for a long time.
The following procedure explains how to set BEFORE&DURING PRNT for automatic cleaning in the media preset
No.2.
