In-Line Air Filters – P/N: 14199
For tamp applicators, there are two vacuum line filters on the
exterior of the machine. They will keep most debris from
entering the vacuum system and clogging the lines. The
regularity that these filters need to be replaced will depend on
the amount of dust and dirt in the air around the machine
throughout its life.
The air filters also serve as in-line check valves for the vacuum
and air assist. The air filters are one directional and it is
important to install them in the proper direction relative to the
air flow of the lines.
The blue lines are used for the vacuum and the air flows
towards the vacuum generator assembly (
P/N: .14210-S
)
while the black hose is the pressure line to the pad for its air
assist.
NOTE: For a Dual Tamp (Swing Arm) applicator, one or
two vacuum filters are utilized for vacuum (blue airline).
Further details on the pneumatics can be found in Chapter 11,
Maintenance
