6 CALIBRATION AND CORRECTION FACTOR
6.4 CALIBRATION
Calibration is carried out for two speeds:
k
Slow running or slow walking
Run as slow as you would run in your slowest training.
k
Fast running or fast walking
Run at the fastest pace that you would run in an endurance run
or a long tempo run (over 3000 m).
The two speeds should ideally differ by 30%.
Tip:
If you only use the device for running and with heart rate
measurement (chest position) and therefore never wear it on
the hip, you only need to calibrate for the sensor position “Chest”
and for “Running”.
