Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use my phone to write to the memory card?
Not all phones support all memory cards. If your phone is not able to write to the provided
card, use a card reader or a PC. Alternatively, you can buy a memory card that is supported by
your phone. Note that cell phones often write other non-MP3 files to memory cards
automatically and those may need to be deleted if you are not getting audio playback
Q: I wrote files to the memory card and left the card in but the device is not playing back
audio.
Ensure your memory card only has MP3 files on it and no other files. Any file other than MP3
must be deleted. Also, when formatting the microSD card, ensure it is formatted using FAT32
standard and that the card capacity does not exceed 32GB
Q: When I write to the memory card using a non-Microsoft Windows operating system (such
as MAC), the unit is not playing back audio
Some systems write hidden files to the memory card. Delete all non-MP3 files, including hidden
files
Q: Can this product play WAV audio? If not, what is the solution?
This product only supports MP3 audio but there are plenty of free WAV to MP3 converts
available online
Q: During use, playback gets interrupted then continues to play and this repeats
This is caused by an unstable voltage and indicates that the battery is low. Recharge the battery
Q: After the unit is powered on, there is a period of time where there is no response or
delayed response.
After power on, there will be 10-20 seconds of power initialization time. During this period, it is
normal to have no or slow response. After this time, the unit will work normally
Q: When updating audio from memory card, indictor light keeps flashes for a long time.
This is an indication that the previous audio update did not complete successfully. For example,
the power was turned off or was unstable during the last update, causing the internal memory
to be corrupted. As a result, the unit is running a process to repair internal memory and this
may take a few minutes
