TURN THE MAIN GAS & POWER OFF TO FIREPLACE BEFORE COMMENCING ANY WORK ON THE
FIREPLACE THIS SHOULD BE DONE BY A LICENSED, CERTIFIED GAS INSTALLER

1/. Remove the safety screen and door as in 3.3.6 / Retirez l'écran de sécurité et de la porte comme
dans 3.3.6
2/. The fan is attached with magnets for ease of installation and can be pulled off the back wall. / Le
ventilateur est fixé avec des aimants pour faciliter l'installation et peut être retiré du mur arrière
3/. Once the fan is loose from the wall, remove the magnet from the motor end of the fan. Then
remove the rheostat by undoing the 2 screws and lifting up, then remove the thermostat by sliding
forwards out of its bracket positioned behind the rheostat up under the bottom of the firebox before
pulling the fan out through the gap on the right hand front of the unit. / Une fois que le ventilateur est
détaché du mur, retirez l'aimant de l'extrémité moteur du ventilateur. Retirez ensuite le rhéostat en
desserrant les 2 vis et en le soulevant, puis retirez le thermostat en le faisant glisser vers l’extérieur
de son support situé derrière le rhéostat vers le bas sous la chambre de combustion avant de sortir le
ventilateur à travers l’espace situé à l’avant droit de la chambre de combustion unité.

4/. To replace fan and reassemble the fireplace go in reverse order from steps 3 through 1. / Pour
remplacer les fan et montons la cheminée aller dans l'ordre inverse des étapes 3 à 1.
