Chapter II Operating instruction

I. Opening of management tools

Double-click the desktop icon “Fingerprint Manage Tools Advanced Edition” to open

the management tools.

Serial port

Select “Serial port number”, which refers to the RS232 port number for

communication between fingerprint reader and computer.

Baud rate means the rate of communication between fingerprint reader and

computer. The default value is “9600” and requires no change.

Version

Enter the subdirectory and select 7. COM PC. Press # to enter communication

status. Press * to quit this status.

Click

to test the communication status between computer and reader

and read the version of reader program.

A reader version where an ID User can

register multiple fingerprints shall be above 7.6.C.F.
