Wireless Transceiver Tool (TLX) (For WFLN Version 1)

About the TLX

The Wireless Transceiver Tool (TLX) is a wireless transceiver that can be used before, during, and after
installation to perform surveys, network checkout, and troubleshooting.

Through Microsoft

®

HyperTerminal, you can view the WFLN information that the TLX accesses, such as

node configuration data and communication quality. The TLX connects to a laptop computer’s RS-232 port
via a 9-pin to RJ-11 RS-232 cable and uses 24 Vac power. The TLX kit (P/N 563-006) includes the TLX,
antenna, power cable, and 24 Vac transformer.
