General Setup

In most cases, the use of the ‘Configuration Tool’ is necessary in order to get the optimum

settings of the SLD4 for these application types.

To communicate with the SLD4 then the following items will be required:

Laptop PC or LRT Netbook

PC based “SLD4 configuration Tool” 667/TZ/45216/000

USB cable interface 702/4/08535/000

AC Supplies

When using 24 AC supply to the detector, only use battery powered interface equipment (e.g.

laptop, PDA). Do not connect mains powered/connected interface equipment to the SLD4. Fail-

ure to observe these precautions may damage the detector and/or the connected device

The links for loop sensitivity are shown below (PL3, PL4, PL5, PL6):-
