6.6.2 Non-contacting tachometer (P030)
NCT function, provides a mA output based on speed for probe A and B. Enable for NCT use,
disable for standard speed monitoring. The non-contact tachometer functionality can be
enabled or disabled from this display.
Pressing the F2 or Esc Key &
▲ cursor key together will enable or disable this feature set.

6.7 Differential speed detection
6.7.1 Differential speed detection (P040)
Differential Speed Detection (DSD) function, provides a relay output based on differential
comparison between probes A and C, B and D. Enable for DSD use, disable for standard
speed monitoring. The DSD can be enabled from this display. Pressing the F2 or Esc Key &
▲ cursor key together will enable or disable this feature set.
Note
Standard operating setpoints must be programmed between 1 to 10% only. A setpoint of 0%
(which can be set by user interface) will result in an alarm condition, Q3 or Q4 set to failsafe
(Lo level)
