3.1
Verification
This section describes a typical verification cycle and the information displayed.
Always use the verificator with a transmitter and sensor connected. The sensor must be filled
with liquid during verification and is not dependent on flow.

Verification Process
Do not touch the buttons or change the settings on the SITRANS F M MAGFLO® transmitter
during the verification process which takes approx. 15 minutes.
WARNING
Power
Any disconnection of the SITRANS F M MAGFLO
®
transmitter or the Verificator adaptor
during test may damage data in the SENSORPROM
®
unit or in the SITRANS F M MAGFLO
Verificator. Always switch power off at the power switch on the SITRANS F M MAGFLO
Verificator before changing the hardware setup.
Note
EMC interference
In harsh environments, a strong EMC interference may disturb the verificator’s result or display.
In this case please reconfirm the test by turning the verificator off/on and perform the test again.

Verificator software - transmitter
Verificator initialization
Display device no. which are unique for this Verificator only. Software version and date for when
the Verificator shall be returned for re-calibration. Display no. of test cycles (number of
verifications).
