Voltage monitoring relay -A11
Follow the procedure below to adjust the threshold of the overvoltage trip with a voltmeter:
1. Ensure that only the auxiliary voltage is connected (the circuit-breaker is open).
2. Set the potentiometer "MAX" to 100%.
3. Measure the voltage at the measuring input "U1" of the voltage monitoring relay -A11. Set
the output voltage of the associated SITOP supply -G11 to the threshold value
25.8 V ± 0.1 V.
4. Slowly reduce the threshold value "MAX" of the voltage monitoring relay -A11 until it trips.
Leave the potentiometer in this setting. The red "MAX" LED " is illuminated, the yellow "REL"
LED is off. After the tripping operation, the measured value on measuring input "U1"
increases by approximately 0.4 V, because the load is disconnected due to the shutdown
and thus the voltage drop via the miniature circuit-breaker is also omitted.
5. Reduce the SITOP output voltage to approximately 24 V.
6. Switch off the miniature circuit-breaker F11 and then switch it on again.
7. To verify the trip level, slowly increase the SITOP output voltage until the tripping operation
of the voltage monitoring relay -A11. In this process, measure the trip value on the
measuring input "U1". This value must be between the limit values of 25.2 V - 26.4 V.
