3.1.2.12
Customer terminal strips
The default setting and interfaces of the customer terminal strips can be found in the circuit
manual. For information about the position of the customer terminal strips within the cabinet,
see the layout diagrams.
Floating customer connections are designed for voltages up to 230 V AC. The floating customer
connections are shown in color.

Water cooling expansion (option A08)
The expanded water cooling comprises the following functions and components:
● Expansion of the power supply
Two DC/DC converters are used for the power supply of the AVT combination module to
sense the current at the input.
● Expansion of the speed actual value sensing
As the speed is not sensed by means of a tachometer but by a slotted disk and optical
sensor, a supplementary module containing pull-down resistors is required that is
connected upstream of the SMC30.
The expanded water cooling comprises the following functions and components:
● ET200M for processing additional signals
The following SIMOTION-compatible SIMATIC modules are used to process additional
signals:

The modules have matching front insertion modules. The transition modules from the ribbon
cable to the spring-loaded terminals are located on the customer terminal strip.
● Rotor ground fault detection
A Bender IRDH275B evaluation unit is used to detect ground faults.

3 adapters for PSA and SINAMICS SITOR interface on control compartments
(option A24)
The adapters adapt the SINAMICS closed-loop control to existing power units employing
SITOR technology. The option is used with the 6-pulse circuit of a three-phase cycloconverter.
