Trace
for effective commissioning and optimization of drives and closed-loop controls, the SIMATIC
S7-1500 CPUs feature integrated trace functionality. The trace function records the CPU
tags, depending on the settable trigger conditions. Tags are, for example, drive parameters
or system and user tags of a CPU. You can display and evaluate the saved recordings with
STEP 7.
By visualizing the entire process with real-time trace, you identify, for example, sporadic
events in the system during commissioning and service.
