3.1 Connecting to the Device
Serial Console and Management Ports
Connect a workstation directly to the serial console or management ports to access
the boot-time control and RUGGEDCOM RX1511 interfaces. The serial console port
provides access to RUGGEDCOM RX1511 's console interface, while the management
port provides access to RUGGEDCOM RX1511's console and Web interfaces.
Connection to the console port is made using an RJ-45-to-DB9 console cable. The
following is the pin-out for the console port:

The DSR, DCD and DTR pins are connected together internally.
The CTS and RTS pins are connected together internally.
RI is not connected.

The management port is a 10/100Base-TX copper Ethernet port with an RJ-45
