Setup
3.1 Overview
SINEC Setup
The SINEC Setup program groups all the handling options of the
SIMATIC NET products you have installed in one user interface.
Start of SINEC
Setup
After installation, SINEC Setup can be started as follows:
Windows:
Double-click the SETUP icon in the SINEC program group.
DOS:
Start the SETUP.EXE program in the SINEC directory.
SINEC Setup User
Interface
The SINEC Setup user interface consists of four components:

The menu bar
•
The list of installed software packages
•
The list of installed hardware components (communications
processors)
•
The assignment matrix of installed software packages and hardware
components
Menu Bar
The SINEC Setup menu bar contains the following menu items:
