Quick Start Programming: steps 1, 2 and 3
1. Configure all parameters to their factory settings via P999 Master Reset:
a.
Press to activate PROGRAM mode.
b. Press twice to access parameter fields.
c. Key in
999
.
d. Press to Clear All and initiate reset.
e. Reset complete. ( Note : Reset takes several seconds to complete.)
2. Set the following parameters for a Quick Start:
Notes:
• P000 locks the unit. The unlocking value is 1954: all other values lock the unit.
• Default settings in the tables below are shown with an asterisk.
• Please refer to the full Instruction Manual to set up inputs, communications, and other
functionality.
P001 Operation: Sets the type of
measurement required for the application.
P002: Material
P003 Measurement Response: Determines
level change reaction.
P004 Antenna: Identifies antenna
configuration.
P005 Units: Specifies units used for
dimensional values.
P006 Empty: Distance in Units (P005) from
flange face to process empty point.
(Empty level can be set at any distance
desired, not just actual empty.
)
P007 Span: Sets the range levels to be
measured.
(Full level can be set at any measurement
above the empty level.)
