Notes:
• This instrument features a universal power supply. Either ac or dc voltage may be
applied to the same terminals.
• The equipment must be protected by a 15 A fuse or circuit breaker in the building
installation.
• The circuit breaker or switch in the building installation, marked as the disconnect
switch, shall be in close proximity to the equipment and within easy reach of the
operator.
Notes:
• The SITRANS LR 300 is to be used only in the manner outlined in this manual, otherwise
protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.
• Installation shall only be performed by qualified personnel and in accordance with local
governing regulations.
• This product is susceptible to electrostatic shock. Follow proper grounding procedures.
• Do not use a Ground Fault Interrupt (G.F.I.) with the SITRANS LR 300. The ground path is
used for filtering purposes in conjunction with the universal power supply.
• The use of Teflon tape or other appropriate sealant may be used to aid in sealing tapered
threaded connections for use in pressure applications.
