5.31 HOW TO CONFIG THE PROGRAM KEY
1. Click the “Program Key” under the Hardware tree, and then select the desired function from the
drop-down “Function” list in the Property window.
2. Drag allowed nodes to the “Program Key” group, and then click “Edit” > “Download configure file” to
download the configure file to the panel.

DACT bypass
(Only for US)
Drag desired DACT modules
to the programmable key
group in the tool.
By pressing the programmable key on the panel,
all panel events are displayed as before, but
DACT does not send them to DACR.
The system returns to normal by pressing the
programmable key again and new events can then
be sent to DACR.
P2 device bypass
(Only for US)
Drag desired P2 points to the
programmable key group in
the tool.
By pressing the programmable key on the panel,
the configured P2 devices generate no events any
more, such as trouble, alarm, etc. and the output
channels are deactivated. The bypassed devices
can be disabled, and disable trouble will report
also.
The system returns to normal by pressing the
programmable key again and the detectors act as
they should be. However the output channels
won’t be activated unless they receive a new
command from the panel.
NAC bypass
(Only for US)
Drag desired NACs
(including PAD 5 NAC) to the
programmable key group in
the tool.
By pressing the programmable key on the panel,
NAC won’t be activated no matter how users
configure the control tree. Manual active doesn’t
work as well.
The system returns to normal by pressing the
programmable key again and the NAC act as they
should be.
Fire drill
(Only for US)
Drag desired alarm zones to
the programmable key group
in the tool.
By pressing the programmable key on the panel,
the zone events are reported to the panel, and
related outputs are activated, such as NAC,
output, DACT etc.
The system won’t return to normal by pressing the
programmable key again. It requires users to
press the reset key.
Manual evacuation
Drag desired alarm zones to
the programmable key group
in the tool.
By pressing the programmable key on the panel,
the zone events are reported to the panel, and
related outputs are activated, such as NAC,
output, DACT etc.
The system won’t return to normal by pressing the
programmable key again. It requires users to
press the reset key.
Co test
(Only for US)
Drag desired CO detectors to
the programmable key group
in the tool.
By pressing the programmable key on the panel,
the CO detectors' sensitivity is set to the most
sensitive level.
The settings for CO detectors return to normal by
pressing the programmable key again.
Lamp test
(Only for US)
Drag desired Panel, FSD or
annunciator to the
programmable key group in
the tool.
By pressing the programmable key on the panel,
the related devices start to do the lamp test.
NOTE
: Users need to update FSD and LED
annunciator firmware to the latest version to
support this function.
