Status LEDs on DSB45
The DSB45 comprises several status LEDs on the PCB and one LED placed on the DSB45
front panel. The position of all LEDs can be seen in Figure 3.
•
Green LEDs V301 - V312 located on the PCB indicate the status of the digital signals of
the GSM module, regardless whether the application switches are set to internal or
external (= customer application) mode.
•
Yellow LEDs V313 - V315 indicate the following modes:
-
LED IGT V313 lights while the ignition pin is activated.
-
LED SYNC V314 may adopt two alternative functions. If AT^SSYNC=0, the LED
flashes while the GSM module is transmitting. If AT^SSYNC=1, the LED indicates
different operating modes of the GSM module. See [1] and [2] for details.
-
LED EMERGOFF V315 either flashes slowly while the GSM module is turned on or
lights permanently when the EMERGOFF pin is activated.
•
The red CHARGE LED V316 lights permanently when charging is in progress and
switches off when charging is completed.
•
The red MOBILE-ON LED V317 lights when the module is switched on. It is off when the
module is in POWER DOWN mode.
•
The green Power-on LED V618 on the front panel of the DSB45 indicates that the
interface to the GSM module and the DSB45 are supplied with power. The LED flashes
slowly when the module is switched on, and lights permanently when the module is in
POWER DOWN mode. Exception: The flash function is not available for MC55i.
