External application mode
The external application mode transfers signals to an external application provided by the
customer and connected to the 40-pin connector X152.
To ensure that the GSM module operates with the customer application, the application
switches X101-X120 need be set to position “External“ as shown in Figure 3.
In this mode, the RS-232 interfaces X201 and X202, the DAI interface X203 are disabled.
The non-locking keys X131 and X132 for switching on and off the GSM module and the RTC
supply are also applicable in external application mode.
