Setting up an administrator
The next screen is used to specify the user identifier and the password for the ad-
ministrator. You also specify whether the administrator will have the right to access
the process data of the S7-200 system with a Web browser.
Activating the individual IT services
The next screen can be used to activate various IT services of the CP 243-1 IT in-
dividually. Every IT service which is to be used later with the CP 243-1 IT must be
marked active in this screen. All unmarked services on this screen will not be
started when the CP 243-1 IT starts up and thus will also be unavailable.
Exception: the FTP server on the CP 243-1 IT which is always activated.
When configuring the CP 243-1 IT, only activate those IT services which will actu-
ally be used in your application.
At this point in the configuration, activation or non-activation of an IT service has no
effect on the configuration steps below.
Specifying the area in which to store the configuration
In the next screen, specify the memory area in which your configuration data are to
be stored on the S7-200 CPU. The wizard will prompt you through.
Information on the subprograms
In the next screen, the wizard tells you which subprograms it has set up for your
configuration and where their configuration data are stored.
Caution
Make sure that the memory area in which the configuration data of the Internet
wizard are stored is not used by your S7-200 user program.
Concluding the first configuration phase
You have now gone through all the screens of the configuration wizard and con-
cluded the first phase of configuration. The next screen offers you the opportunity
to call the wizards of the IT services. Click the appropriate icon in the left-hand box
of the screen.
If you don't want to use any of the IT services on your CP 243-1 IT, conclude the
configuration at this point and click "Finish."
