Codoor can use both alkaline or lithium batter-
ies.
Note that lithium have some advantages:

The batteries will recover faster at
frequent use of the Codoor.
Saves environment, due to longer
lifetime cycle (and less batteries in
use).
Storage time can be up to ten years.
