General safety percautions

Read the general safety precautions before installing/configuring/operating the
device.
z
Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the device.
z
Keep this document for reference purposes.

This document must always accompany the product.
Liability claim

Use only spare parts and accessories that have been approved by the
manufacturer.

Transport
z
Keep the packaging material for future transportation.
z
Do not expose the device to mechanical vibrations or shocks.

Installation
z
It is recommended that all preparatory work (e.g. fitting of accessories) be
carried out in a workshop prior to final installation.
z
The environmental conditions recommended by the manufacturer must be
observed. See section 'technical data'.
z
Do not operate the device close to sources of powerful electromagnetic
radiation.
z
The device should only be used for indoor applications.
z
The mounting surface must be solid and non-combustible.
Danger of electrical shock/fire hazard/damage to the device due to
incorrect connection
z
Connect the device only to a power source that complies with SELV
requirements and with the Limited Power Source requirements to EN 60950-1.

Maintenance

Do not attempt to service or modify this device yourself. Refer this work to
qualified service personnel.

Do not use liquid cleaners or sprays that contain alcohol, spirit or ammonia.

Sensor characteristics
The following conditions may be observed when using a CMOS camera. These are
inherent in the design and do not stem from any fault in the camera itself.
