7.2 Desk call station operation
Transmitting a manual announcement / Triggering an evacuation
with a manual announcement
1. Select a zone or several zones by pressing the correspondingly labeled
buttons.
Selected zone buttons light up.
2. Press the correspondingly labeled speak button for the manual announcement.
The microphone is activated.
3. Speak into the microphone at a normal sound level.
Already active announcements are deactivated in the selected zones.
A manual announcement is made in the selected zones.
4. Press the correspondingly labeled speak button to play the manual
announcement again.
The microphone is deactivated.
5. Press the selected zone buttons again.
The button lighting goes out.
