Setting the address CerPass reader protocol (RS485 bus operation, 2-wire)
Bus operation with up to 8 readers connected to controllers CC30xx, DRI or ERI.
All card readers are issued with an individual address as shown in table 3.

3.2.3
Setting the address (Clock/Data)
When the clock/data interface is used there is no need to select a reader address.
as that interface allows only one reader to connect with the interface unit DCU-3 or
with the UCI-interface box.

3.2.4
Communication Interface and protocol selection
The communication interface has to be selected ether to communicate with intelli-
gent controllers via RS485 bus or to connect to a reader interface using Clock/Data
interface.
Within the selected communication interface there are different protocols select-
able.
