If the Serial Modem is connected behind a router, it is not 
located automatically but must then be added manually ("Add 
Device manually"). This is done by entering its IP address in 
the required space. If the device can be accessed at this 
address, it is imported into the list. 

Note:

 If the device is installed behind a router, the IP address 

cannot be changed. This prevents the device from becoming 
unaccessible by mistake.
