Installation, Preparation & Use

Cutting BELLARA
TM
Steel Siding
You are now ready to cut BELLARA
TM
. To do this you need to release the pivot.
1.
Raise the handle to its highest position.
2.
Pull back on the back of the blade.
3.
Use your left hand to hold the grip and with your right hand, pull down
on the handle firmly to cut through the BELLARA
TM
siding.
4.
Raise the handle and pull back the blade to put the cutter in to the locked position.
Transport
Close the BELLARA
TM
Siding Shear by
lowering the handle. Make sure the
handle of the shear is completely closed
before lifting. For added security we
recommend inserting a 5/16” diameter
pin (not supplied) into the hole as
shown below. The weight of the shear
is about 20lbs.
Maintenance
For any service or maintenance, please contact
Siding Tools Industries at 450-527-7840.
Warning:
Do not put your fingers against the sharp edge
of the blade at any time. It is recommended to lubricate the
blade on a regular period of time with PL-100 or equivalent.
Do not use WD-40
.
WARNING:
DO NOT PUT YOUR FINGERS AGAINST THE SHARP EDGE OF THE BLADE AT ANY TIME.
