7.5 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Because all the combined series units are tested in terms of their moving and operating parts, no faults should occur, nevertheless:
Transport, unloading, handling, incorrect use or lack of maintenance can cause problems, in which case refer to the troubleshooting chart
the end user,
skilled technical personnel,
the dealer’s technicians or Sicar SpA.
If after performing the operations described below, the problem/s is/are not remedied, contact the after-sales service of Sicar S.p.A., or that of your nearest Sicar dealer.
The machine fails to start No power Check external switch or direct supply
Fuses Replace these, if magnetic reset
Power cable Carefully tighten the cables on the terminal board
Thermal magnetic cutout Wait a couple of minutes and press the black button again
If this continues to trip, contact a technician for possible replacement
Emergency Release the mushroom-shaped emergency button
Belt cover plate not fitted properly
Starter Starter open, place in zero position
Probable contact of auxiliary not closing, see a technician
Microswitch Micro on belt tensioning hole broken, to be changed
Does not cut Belt s Belt slack, tension, using the jack
blade not suitable for cutting, check and fit the correct blade
Blade does not cut, check and have sharpened
Blade dirty with resin, soak for 12 hours in solvent or replace
Not square up Support rule Presence of sawdust in trestle. Remove

Blades touch Carriage not parallel Carriage to be adjusted, contact a technician or SICAR directly
