Overheating protection
If there is any danger of the appliance overheating (e.g. because something is
covering it or due to power supply overload), the built-in overheating protection
will switch the heater off.
Once it has cooled, the appliance switches back on automatically and
resumes its previous operation.
ATTENTION
A common cause of overheating is a build-up of dust or fluff inside the
appliance. You are advised to clean the appliance regularly and to use a
vacuum cleaner to remove such a build-up.
Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning the appliance, switch the convector off, unplug from the power
socket and wait until the appliance has cooled completely.
Clean the appliance with a soft, moderately damp cloth, then wipe with a dry
cloth.
To remove dust, use a vacuum cleaner, particularly at the air inlet and outlet
grilles.
ATTENTION
Do not immerse the heater in water or other liquids or allow it to come into
contact with these.
Never use petrol, alcohol or solvents to clean the appliance
– this could be
dangerous.
Do not spray insecticides or similar agents onto the heater.
Do not use the appliance in wet rooms.
