1.5.2 Jumper Settings
Several hardware adjustments are made by setting jumpers on the mainboard. To
successfully change jumper settings, you will need to locate pin#1. In this manual,
pin#1 is represented by a white square, other pins are represented by a circles. An
illustration is shown below for your reference:
Caution!
1. Do not remove the mainboard from its case.
2. Do not touch the components on the mainboard. When installing com-
ponents, pay special attention not to man handle sensative components
on the mainboard.
3. Wear an antistatic wrist strap or take other suitable measures to prevent
electrostatic discharge (ESD) whenever handling this equipment or insta-
lling components.
Jumpers with two pins are shown as
for Closed [On] or
for Open
[Off]. To Short jumper pins, simply place a plastic jumper cap over the desired pair
of pins.

Fan Connectors (FAN1/FAN2)
The mainboard provides two onboard 12V
cooling fan power connectors to support
CPU (FAN1), System (FAN2) cooling fans.
Note : Both cable wiring and type of plug may vary depending on the fan
maker.
