BIOS Write Protection (JP6)
JP6 is used to protect BIOS from abnormal writing.
You may choose to place jumper cap on pins 1-2 for BIOS write protection;
however, please place jumper cap on pins 2-3 if you need to reflash BIOS.

To enable reflashing
the BIOS
Pin 2-3 (Default)
Reflash the BIOS, follow these steps:
Step 1.
Turn off the system power (PC-> Off).
Step 2.
Make sure of place jumper cap on JP6 pin 2-3.
Step 3.
Insert a bootable system floppy disk with AV30 BIOS and
flashutility and then turn on your system to execute flash utility.
Clear CMOS (JP2)
JP2 is used to clear CMOS data. Clearing CMOS will result in the permanent
erasing of previous system configuration settings and the restoration of original
(factory-default) system settings.
Pin 1-2 (Default)
Pin 2-3 (Clear CMOS)
Step 1.
Turn off the system power (PC-> Off).
Step 2.
Remove jumper cap from JP2 pins 1-2.
Step 3.
Place the jumper cap on JP2 pin 2-3 for a few seconds.
Step 4.
Return the jumper cap to pin 1-2.
Step 5.
Turn on the system power (PC-> On).
