and the following descriptions to become familiar with the basic controls and
components of this machine. Understanding these items and how they work will help you understand the
rest of the manual and stay safe when operating this machine.
A. Miter Gauge: Used for miter sanding.
Adjustable from 60

left to 60

right.
B. Sanding Disc: Interchangeable 6" abrasive
discs for performing angle, miter, and
square sanding operations.
C. LED Light: Adjusts to illuminate
workpieces. Turns
ON
and
OFF
by twisting
light head clockwise/counterclockwise.
D. Tracking Knob: Adjusts alignment of
sanding belt on sanding bed.
E. Tension Lock Knob: Tightens to secure belt
tension. Loosens to release tension.
Note: Belt tension is controlled by a
spring. Lock knob only locks spring setting
in place.
F. Sanding Belt: Used for sanding with grain
along length of workpiece.
G. Backstop: Prevents workpiece from being
thrown by rotation of sanding belt.
H. Backstop Angle Knob: Tightens to secure
backstop at desired angle.
I. ON/OFF Switch: Turns motor ON and OFF.
J. Table Angle Knob: Adjusts angle of disc
sanding table.
K. Disc Sanding Table: Supports workpiece
during disc sanding operation.
