Additional Safety Precautions for Ratchet Hoists
DO NOT attempt to lift a load
in excess of the rated load capacity.
DO NOT drag the load or lift it when it is
not directly under the ratchet hoist.
DO NOT wrap the lifting
chain around the load
to lift it—use a
separate chain.
DO NOT mishandle
the hoist assembly.
DO NOT allow the hook
to become twisted
around the chain.
DO NOT exceed the maximum lifting or lowering distance.
