9-4 VERIFICATION

MEASURED

VALUE AND RECORDER OUTPUT

This clause is used to test the measured value and recorder output.

• Since SPEED RELAY may be output during the test, open the circuit between the

SPEED RELAY contacts and the connected system if necessary.

• Set the DANGER Bypass Switch to "ON" position.

• When mounting this monitor unit in the VM-5H3 or VM-5W1 Instrument Rack, set

the DANGER Bypass switch to “ENBL” position.

• The machine is not protected during operation test.

9-4-1 INTERCONNECTION (ex. VM-5G SINGLE UNIT INSTRUMENT RACK)

Connect a Synthesizer to the input/output terminals of the VM-5G Single Unit Instrument Rack

and measure the recorder output with a DMM.

• Connect to the input/output terminals of the channel under operation test.
