9-2 VERIFICATION OF OK (INPUT ABNORMAL ALARM) OPERATION

This clause is used to test the display and contact output of OK (INPUT ABNORMAL ALARM).

•

Since OK (INPUT ABNORMAL ALARM) will be output during the test, open the

circuit between the alarm contacts and the connected system if necessary.

•

Set each Alarm Bypass Switch to “OFF” position.

• The machine is not protected during operation test.

9-2-1 INTERCONNECTION (ex. VM-5G SINGLE UNIT INSTRUMENT RACK)

Connect a input transducer to the input terminal of the VM-5G Single Unit Instrument Rack and

check the circuit of OK, ALERT contact points.

• Connect to the input/output terminals of the channel under operation test.

• Refer to “4. INTERCONNECTION” on page 4.
