After removing the CD, make sure to press the (OPEN/CLOSE)
button and close the disc compartment.

When the unit enters the stand-by mode, the opened disc com-
partment cover will be closed automatically.

Whilst in the "VCD ON" state, you cannot play back audio CDs.
Caution:

Do not open or close the disc compartment cover manually.
It may cause malfunctions to the unit.

Be careful not to jam your fingers in the disc compartment
cover.

If the power fails whilst the compartment is open, wait until the
power is restored.

If a disc is damaged, dirty, or loaded upside down, "NO DISC" or
"READ ERR" will appear on the display.

Keep foreign objects out of the disc compartment.

Subjecting the unit to shock or vibration may cause mistracking.

When the unit is not being used, be sure to close the disc com-
partment. If it is left open, the lens may be covered with dust and
the unit may not operate properly.

If TV or radio interference occurs during CD operation, move the
unit away from the TV or radio.

When the end of the last track is reached during fast forward, the
unit will enter the stop mode. When the beginning of the first track is
reached during fast reverse, the unit will enter the playback mode.
To move to the beginning of the next track:
