Your VCR’s clock can display either 24-hour time or
AM/PM time. When the power cord is first
plugged in, the display will show “SHARP” until the clock is set. “SHARP” will also be displayed if the
power is restored to the VCR after having been cut off for more than minute due to power failure, etc.
Example: Setting the clock to
(morning), February 15, 1996.

NOTES:
l
If you press the CLOCK button while the VCR is operating, you cannot change channel positions until you have
finished setting the clock.
l
If you make a mistake, repeat the steps above to set the time again.
l
If the precise clock time is required (within a second), after setting the year (after completing step
do not press
the
CLOCK
button until the exact start of the minute. The clock will start operating as soon as the CLOCK button is
pressed.
l

the clock without the remote control, refer to page 20.
